With rising costs on everything from tickets to parking to special events at places like Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Sea World, it can sometimes be hard to justify spending that much money for a family. Believe me, we understand…
Fast Food Toys are awfully gender specific. Think back to the last time you ordered a kids meal at a giant fast food chain. Did they ask you, “is the toy for a boy or a girl?” (WHAT DOES IT MATTER?!? My boys like cute little critters AND robots!) News Flash: Toys are gender neutral…until we label them a certain way.
When I (Laci) had a day-long workshop scheduled to be held early in the morning in Santa Monica, I knew that it would be a challenge to make it into the city from our home without encountering hours worth of traffic. Hmm, I thought…what if I just stayed right there the night before, and made it a little “Mama beach getaway?” I roped in a friend who was also headed to the same workshop, and we started searching online for the perfect place for a girl’s night.

Now that we’re headed into the holiday gift-giving season, I have to make a shameless plug for something I’m really excited about…my very first TOY voiceover! Meet Skyo, one of the new creatures called Wrapples.
When first-time moms ask me what they REALLY need on their registry, I don’t hesitate to tell them that there is one item I wholeheartedly recommend…
I read an interesting article (linked below) recently about how Millennials (people born between the years 1981-1996) tend to work weird hours, and consider themselves “workaholics.” This seems pretty contradictory to the stereotypes we hear about millennials being lazy, or the idea that they were coddled by their parents and don’t understand the importance of working. While that might be true for some, in my experience, I’ve found the opposite to be true!
